On 9th June, Singapore had 3 new confirmed cases of Influenza A (H1N1-2009) bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 18 according to Ministry of Health.

The 18th case is a 36-year-old Filipino female who works in Singapore. She returned to
Singapore from Manila on Philippine Airlines PR501 at 1835 hours on June 8. She was seated at row 6.

Contact tracing has been initiated for the following passengers:
- Within rows 4 to 8 on PR501 on 8 June

Affected passengers seated at the above rows who have not been contacted by MOH yet should call the MOH hotline at 1800-333 9999.

Of the 85 cases investigated thus far, 18 cases have tested positive for the Influenza A (H1N1-2009) virus, 54 cases tested negative for Influenza A, 11 tested positive for the usual circulating seasonal flu strains, and 2 are pending laboratory investigations.

There is currently no evidence of community spread in Singapore. Nine of the cases have been discharged. All contacts under Home Quarantine Orders are also doing well.
