Crisostomo Ibarra comes to Singapore

Noli Me Tangere is hailed as the novel with the greatest impact on Filipino political thinking, as well as the widest influence on contemporary fiction, drama, opera, dance and film. The fact that it is required reading for every Filipino high school student suggests its perceived importance in understanding how the Philippines came to be what it is today, and possibly, discovering a way to move the country forward, free from this historical baggage.

Crisostomo Ibarra comes to Singapore

We invite all Filipinos in Singapore to join us in commemorating the 150th Birth Anniversary of Rizal, our national hero, by witnessing our world-class talents as they infuse life into his literary masterpiece.
