Two Congressmen who are on the Committee on Suffrage and Electoral Reforms, Rep. Teodoro Locsin Jr. and Rep. Roman Romulo, will be on coming in Singapore to consult with Filipino community leaders and embassy officials on the implementation of the law on overseas absentee voting, the automation of the Philippine electoral system, and other matters related to overseas absentee voting.
The Jurisdiction of the Committee on Suffrage and Electoral Reforms cover all matters directly and principally relating to the protection and advancement of the right of suffrage and the conduct of elections, plebiscites, initiatives, recalls & referenda. This Committee is headed by Rep. Teodoro L. Locsin Jr., currently serving as Chairman
This will be held on May 12 (Tuesday night) around 7PM at the Ambassador’s residence.
